Phantom is led by Frank Rosenthal, a second-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. He trained at Renzo Gracie Academy in New York and studied under John Danaher. After moving to Virginia, he continued learning from Ryan Hall while teaching at Fifty/50 Academy.
